All CubeClub sessions are run by me: professional Rubik's Cube solver and Rubik's Brand Ambassador, George Scholey. With 2 Guinness World Records and 11 National Records, I'm on a mission to inspire through the profound power of the Rubik's Cube. From media appearances to public speaking, I'm always pushing to popularise the amazing underground world of speedsolving. My Story + Useful Links
I first solved a Rubik's Cube at the age of 13, initially instigated by my interest in close-up magic. However, with a dedicated approach to my hobbies, I soon became obsessed with Rubik's Cube speedsolving from looking up tutorials on YouTube. I went to my first competition 2 months later, achieving a national record within my first year of solving. Competing connected me to an amazing community of like-minded individuals, inspiring me to keep practicing and pushing limits. It was a long road, but in 2019 I finally became the UK Champion and subsequently an ambassador for the Rubik's brand. Now I have the incredible opportunity to compete worldwide, representing the Rubik's brand and attempting to inspire others with my story.
